The Effects of Self-Efficacy on Adolescent Self Awareness of Experience of Neglect: Moderating Effect of Social Support

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of self-perception on self-efficacy and the moderating effect of social support on adolescent aged experience. The subjects of this study were self-enrolled questionnaires for middle and high school students in Chungnam and Daejeon, and 243 respondents who answered that they had self-And analyzed using hierarchical regression analysis. The main results of the study are as follows. First, self-perception of experience of neglecting adolescence has negative effect on self-efficacy. Second, parent support and friend support among adolescents' social support showed a positive (+) influence on self-efficacy. Third, the effect of self-perception on self-efficacy on adolescent's neglected experience was moderated by negative social support. Based on the results of this study, we discussed the practical intervention plan for the improvement of mental health of adolescents with self-awareness about experiences of neglect by parents.
